Hello and welcome!

My name is Emily and I am a staff scientist at the Climate Law Institute for the Center for Biological Diversity. My work provides the economic analysis and support for climate and environmental protection policies, including the plugging and decommissioning of idle and orphan oil wells in the U.S.

I have a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. My dissertation examined the political economy of plastics substitution and policy.
